Luigi’s Pizza Parlor

About The Client

SACRAMENTO’S ORIGINAL PIZZA PARLOR

In 1953, Luigi’s Pizza Parlor was opened by a team of bookies from Southern Italy. Seeking a front for their illegal gambling, the owners made pizza, pasta and sauces from scratch in the hopes that their back-room card games and gambling business would be overlooked by the Sacramento Police Department. As it turned out, these bookies were better at slinging pie than running numbers, and Luigi’s Pizza Parlor settled successfully into place as the oldest original pizza parlor in Sacramento.

In 1965, the Brida family of Northern Italy bought Luigi’s and continued the tradition of great pizza. For an impressive 53 years, the Bridas have passed the parlor from generation to generation, handing down secret family recipes, and making Luigi’s the much-loved restaurant it is today.

In 2019 the traditions of Luigi’s Pizza Parlor were once again passed on. This time to Sacramento-local families with a deep love for pizza and beer. Having grown up eating at Luigi’s we are excited to welcome you back to your neighborhood pizza parlor.

Custom Website, Website Management

Requirements

  • Ecommerce
  • POS Integration
  • Pickup and Delivery Options
  • Real Time Product/Order Updates

Our Solution

  • We researched multiple platforms to find the right one that met all our client’s needs. Ultimately we decided to move forward with Dutchie; a fully automated, real-time ecommerce menu , that was created for dispensaries.
  • Dutchie’s platform integrated flawlessly with their website and in-store POS systems.
  • Loyalty Program
  • Customer Relations Manager
  • Marketing
  • With a multitude of available options, the key was finding a platform that integrated with their other software; such as Dutchie, Cova, MailChimp, etc.
  • We found Alpine IQ to be the best fit as it integrates flawlessly with 3rd-party apps, manages customers details, and provides in-depth marketing reports.
  • A warm welcoming design that differs from the sterotypical dispensary feel.
  • Showcases midwest values; feeling of trust, professionalism, and friendliness.
  • Above all, education over intimidation.
  • To break away from the stereotypical feel that most dispensaries give off, we decided to go the root of the company. Focus on their midwest values and dedication to education over intimidation. With the use of wood grain textures and rust textures with color coordinated overlays, we were able to create a design that’s welcoming, warm, easy to navigate, and relates to the physical location.
  • When you land on the website, we want the user to feel as if it is a direct extension of the physical location.
